Orders will be shipped as soon as possible, after payment has been confirmed, normally within 2 working days providing all items are currently in stock. If an item happens to be out of stock or unavailable, we will contact you to advise your options. Orders placed over the weekend will normally be processed on Monday.
Any deviation from the above will be clearly advertised, in advance, on the homepage (e.g. Planet Poultry is at the Sydney Royal - no online orders will be processed for delivery during this time)
Smaller items with be delivered via Australia Post (unless requested otherwise).
Postage charges are based on the gross weight or the cubic weight, whichever is the greater, of individual parcels and are automatically calculated by the real-time connection to the Australia Post calculator and automatically added to the shopping cart. A small handling charge may be applied to some items.
On check-out the following options are available:
* Economy Post (see Australia Post guidelines). Not insured or trackable.
* Express Post (Next business day to main centres - see Australia Post for Next Day
Delivery Network). Trackable, not insured. Fastest method.
Large or bulky items will be delivered by courier.
All items listed with a "Call for Price" icon will only be delivered by courier. The "Call for Price" icon is a facility for your to request a quotation for courier costs which are calculated from your suburb and postcode details.
Please note you will be asked for delivery authorisation instructions if your are not likely to be home when the courier tries to deliver the item. Extra charges will apply for each re-delivery attempt.
Planet Poultry is not liable to replace or refund any items lost or damaged during transport. Should you be concerned about such a rare occurrence, please contact us to discuss options. Any damage occurring during transport via courier will be resolved in conjunction with the courier.
